Early Morning Mist Rising

These were taken back in the autumn of 2017. I enjoyed the mysterious mood of the early morning mist as it steadily rose from the landscape with a bluish tinge.

Painted Skies

I took this a few years ago one early summer morning. There is no post-processing here. Nature is the artist, painting the clouds and the dawn light.

Red Dawn

Dawn

“Red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning”

The last day of September starts off with quite an amazing spectacle at sunrise … but ends with heavy rain coming nightfall.

Autumn Dawn

Autumn Dawn

I crack open the window blinds and my sleep weary eyes are filled with such wonder and joy, such magic of the world and the cosmos as a new day dawns.

The Mystery of Consciousness

Red Dawn

The mystery of consciousness makes reality, and there is no reality without a fully conscious species to apprehend it. You think the world precious because you’re here to see it. We are the world and the world is us, and neither can be but a dream of no importance without the other.

Dean Koontz from ‘The Whispering Room’.

An Ocean of Clouds

Can you perceive within those layers of billowing light, across a boisterous ocean, a far off land where gold tints the highest peaks?

We dream … and we can see what we will … or wish to see …

Dedicated to Linda who is dearly missed, but always in our hearts.
