Lindtneria trachyspora

Lindtneria trachyspora

This is a difficult one to accuratley identify, so I maybe mistaken here, but it was found on a fallen rotting branch beneath an oak tree in woodland. It is a ruspinate, crust-like fungus which is ochraceous and full of pores.

Found on rotting wood of broad-leaved trees and other rotting herbaceous matter. It appears to be often over looked.
