Length of adult 2.5-3mm. The reddish leaf rolls on Red Valerian (Centranthus ruber) are quite distinctive. These galls are caused by the nymphs of the bug Trioza centranthi.
Found wherever the host plant Red Valerian (Centranthus ruber) is found. Historically a rare and scattered species, but may be on the increase.
