Family Theridiidae (Comb-footed spiders)

Body length 2.2-3.8 mm.

This small yet bulbous-bodied spider has got quite a distinctive zig-zaggy median band. Very similar to Theridion mystaceum which is usually found away from buildings on shrubs and trees.

Mainly found in and around buildings. Seen all year round. It is common and widespread in much of England. A native species.
