Rosy Minor Litoligia literosa

Wingspan 25-30 mm. Quite an attractively coloured and patterned moth with pinkish or reddish-brown tints mixed with greys. The larva feeds on various grasses. The adult flies July to August, flying later than some of the other minors, and is attracted to light. Found in various habitats, including grasslands, coastal cliffs, and gardens. Common and widespread, and fairly abundant on the coast.
