Philodromus sp. aureolus  group

Body length 4-6mm. Also referred to as the wandering crab spider, the markings are very variable. Seen spring and summer, and found in various habitats, including woodland, hedgrows, gardens and even occasionally in houses. Common and widespread thoughout Britain. This is probably the commonest member of the genus.
