Limnephilus flavicornis (Fabricius, 1787)



FW length 11-17 mm.

This is a pale species with a rather greasy appearance.

It is seen May to July and August to November with a summer diapause. Found in ponds, pools, and lakes. Common and widespread throughout Britain except for the Scottish uplands.
