Family Lithobiidae

Length Up to 17 mm.

A pale brown centipede with an indistinct darker longitudinal dorsal stripe.

It feeds on insects and other invertebrates. Seen all year round.

Typically found in drier places, often above ground under bark on trees and on walls, but may also be found lower down under stones and logs. A native species, very common and widespread throughout Britain.
