Cultivated Daffodil – Narcissus agg.

A very familiar spring flowering plant with its bright sunshine coloured petals, but there are numerous daffodil cultivars in addition to the Wild Daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus), so all Cultivated Daffodils are recorded in the wild as Narcissus agg.

It flowers January to April, and can be found in woodland clearings, and along roadsides and streams as an escapee from cultivation. Common and widespread.
