Family Theridiidae (Comb-footed spiders)

Body length 2.5-3.5 mm.

The carapace of this small spider is light brown with a thin, dark border. It has a broad, dark brown median band.

Seen spring and summer, and found in various habitats where there are trees, bushes and tall plants. Common and widespread in much of England, less so elsewhere. A native species.
