Aleiodes praetor

Forewing length 8-10 mm. A bright orange species of wasp with long antennae and dark end to the rear tibia.

Seen June to August, it is a parasitoid of various hawk-moths, it is often attracted to the light of moth traps. A rare species only recorded in the southern half of England. Native
