  1. I have two fox squirrels and three grays staring at me right now, with expressions that clearly say, “Woman! Our peanuts are gone! Bring us more!” Would I come at the beck and call of a herd of squirrels? Well, of course.

    • Lol! Grey Squirrels have a bad reputation here as an invasive species which have pushed most of the Red Squirrels north. But I do like them when they pay a visit, even if they are nosy 🙂

  2. I love squirrels and your image in this post is endearingly cute. Wish we had them here in Australia, but no such luck.

Squirrels are one small critter that I wish was brought out by the early settlers in the late 1790s, early 1800s. After all, you gave us Robins, Blackbirds, Rabbits, Foxes and similar little critters and birds.

    • Thank you, Vicki 🙂 Unfortunately the Grey Squirrel has a bad reputation here, not only as a pest, but as an invasive species which has almost wiped out our native Red Squirrel population. But I still enjoy seeing them and find their antics quite adorable 🙂

  3. We have a few different types of squirrels and they are all cute. One of them is a ground squirrel which looks very much like a chipmunk but a little larger. We have a bunch of them and they ate my perennial garden this year! I got a have-a-hart trap and have relocated 17, 2 miles away thus far. Hopefully I can have a garden next year!
