Brolly For The Fairies

Parasol Macrolepiota procera

Of x3 images. This is one of the larger mushrooms I spotted today, and I couldn’t really miss it as it had the diameter of a side plate.

It is simply called Parasol (Macrolepiota procera), and you can see why. This is one to keep the elves and fairies dry in the rain πŸ˜‰

    1. Thank you David. Yes, all in one walk and in a relatively short distance of each other. I was surprised to see how many there was. There were more but have yet to post.

      1. The parasols are the only ones apart from horse mushrooms that I’ve dared to try. I think one needs a (real person) mushroom guide to start one off.
