I have noticed how big the young frogs are now growing in the garden pond. I spied four of them amongst the Water Mint and pond weed poking their heads out the water.

It is good to see frogs again. I miss our summer chorus of frogs and am hoping enough survive the drought and winter to sing again in spring.

Beautiful frogs. You are lucky to have so many in your pond! Nice pictures. Do they “sing”?

Thank you 🙂 I do feel very lucky indeed! I heard the adults croaking in spring, but none of these. They are probably too young and will be ready for mating next spring.

Great images. I particularly like the first one in this series. Makes me feel as though I’m really close to the frog and having a ‘conversation’ with it.

I do feel very lucky Jill. And each day I have a trot to the pond just to keep an eye on them.
