I found this little Clubiona sp. of spider under my green recycling bin hatch.
Oh … do not click twice on the top full face image unless you really want this nice spider right in ‘your’ face ….

Ah … the Sac Spider. Thought by some to be medically significant. I swear I was bitten once by a Long Legged Sac spider.
Not pleasant.

Fantastic macros. It is always so interesting to see small animals that big.

Looks like another insect with good camouflage π Great shots (although that first one is a little creepy).

Lovely photos – it is interesting how expressive a spider with its multiple eyes seems in close-up!

Once I had clicked twice, I zoomed in as well. Its easy to be brave with the small ones especially on a phone screen. Do they ever ‘shut’ their eyes when they’re asleep? I can’t see eyelids.

I don’t think they have eyelids, although I am not completely sure on that one, or that they sleep the way we do. I they don’t have eyelids it must have had a x8 headache after I flashed my camera at it! π

Wow, fantastic pictures!! I think I prefer the Zebra spider…. In the first photo she looks like she used too many lipstick π Nevertheless kind of pretty. After a while.
