    The larger photos really do show so much more detail. I especially liked seeing the enlargement of the wings in the last photo.

    I’ve grown increasingly fond of hoverflies, at least in part because the species I see most often are a little more willing to slow down for the camera. This is a handsome species, and the photos are delightful.

    Superb detailed images!! Feels almost like I’d like to pat them as they seem to be so soft to touch. Marvelous done Pete!
