Hi Adele,
Yes thank you, and of course one thing leads to another and before you know it the year has gone and a new one appears and starts to fly by. I will look forward to catching up with your wonderful blogs! Thank you, and best wishes Pete
Dear Diana,
I am good thank you, and I hope you are well, too! Thank you for your lovely comment, I will be looking forward to catching up on your fabulous blogs!
Thank you very much Dear Diana, and great to hear from you too! 🙂 I am well thank you, and I am enjoying the spring very much so, and hope to get out with my camera more and more. I hope all is well there with you, and you are happy and feeling inspired!
I have to say there has been severe neglect of macro photography and poetry on my end. But I travelled to India and Australia at the end of last year … wonderfully distracting and enriching.
Have you been away?
Please get out and give your camera a work out… it will motivate me 😊
I am so pleased you have enjoyed your travels Diana. Sounds wonderful and most inspirational. You must have many magic moments to recollect on!
Here though has been less interesting. I have been caught up in house renovation, and then I moved on to music composition and made another album, another passion of mine which I dip in time to time and do really enjoy. Then more house renovation. But alas I have neglected the camera, and I will now look forward very much to indulging once more!
Just saw your like on my site. Funny, you were the topic of conversation just yesterday. A comment that we have not heard from you in some time. Hope all is well, regards from Ellen.
Hi Jude,
It has been fairly busy here over the last few months and I got myself involved in other things. I am good, and I hope you are too. Many thanks for asking, and I look forward to catching up with your blogs! Pete
Really lovely! It looks more like an early summer flower than late season.

I’m waiting for the heat to go away. Last winter the flowers came back because our winter is not too cold. 🙂

Nice rose Pete do you know the variety? By regular cutting back I often get roses in flower through to December (if mild enough)

Thank you Brian 🙂 I will have to get back on the variety. Same here with cutting back. This is the second flowering.

Lovely. A mellow rose for an (allegedly) mellow season. Hope the storms haven’t damaged it.

Doing a bit of the old diy myself. Not very handy at all so every task takes me an age!

Like Ark I was wondering where you had disappeared to. Glad to see it is just other projects taking up your time and nothing untoward. 🙂

Hi Pete, hope the DIY is going well! Lovely shot of the rose and it’s nice to be reminded of colour as the rain and gloom continues.
