    Is that its tongue I see poking down into that disk flower? What a shot — nice that the ray flowers were few enough for you to capture it from the side.

    Nice shot! I find it interesting that the bumble bees and carpenter bees I photograph have black/brown tinted wings versus the clear wings of your bees.
