One of my very favourite wild flowers, this is such a small, low-growing flower it could quite easily be overlooked if it wasn’t for its bright red vivid colour. Definitely a hands and knees job in the dirt to get these shots in.

This is one of my favorites, as well. Do you have the blue version? I often find the two colors mixed, which is a special delight.

They are lovely, and can be easily overlooked growing amongst other flowers they are so small. The bright red normally gives them away if you are looking down at your feet.
