This is such a lovely little plant and I always enjoy spotting it in the fields. It is one of the Speedwells, which one it is I don’t know.

We have these in Colorado as well. I love taking pictures of them, but often the pictures don’t turn out as well as I would hope. Makes me feel like I can smell the fresh air of nature there!

They are not the easiest of flowers to photo. I must have taken a dozen or so before deciding on this one.

So I’m not alone then! They are so lovely when they do come out though!

I’ve let it run into the meadow where it is taking over. It was banished from my gardens for its aggressive nature!

It could be Germander Speedwell, but need to see the leaves as well to be sure

Thank you, Paul 🙂 I normally get a take on the leaves but didn’t! I hope to revisit this weekend if the weather permits to study the leaves better.
