Great close up of a lovely golden flower! Most of the wild flowers here in Malta are yellow.

We have a large buttercup that’s very similar in appearance. It’s in an entirely different genus, but it has the same pleasing appearance. I’ve never seen it because it grows in the central part of the state — Texas is so big, with so many ecoregions, you have to buy identification guides for different areas!
