    Never considered this as a subject. I like it. Shows how different styles and types of photography can hold you back a little bit. Well, hold me back. Thanks for expanding my view…literally. 😀

    My first thought was, “Come into my parlor, said the Spider to the Fly…” I grew up hearing that first as an aphorism, and later as the first line of a complete poem. The original first line is, “‘Will you walk into my parlour,’ said the Spider to the Fly…” The entire poem’s here. It was fun to read it again. I had no idea it was published in the early 1800s, or that the author (Mary Howitt) was English.

      I grew up with same poem, but only those first few words ever stuck in my mind. Quite a creepy poem, but lovely to read in its entirety . Thank you for the link 🙂

    And probably we would be in a similar predicament if we were the size of a fly. Pound for pound, spider web is supposed to be stronger than high tensile steel, isn’t it?
