I do enjoy seeing color this time of year. This is a nice color, too — a lovely reminder of what we’ll have in a couple of months (or so).

Beautiful. My mother-in-law had rampant lavatera which she never cut back. We had a smaller variety called (I think) Marsh Marigold. It was pale purple and slightly veined. Yours looks a bit pinker.

Thank you 🙂 There are different varieties, and some are quite rampant. I have had this one for quite some years and have hardly had to cut it back.
