Cheeky Chappy

Grey Squirrel Sciurus carolinensis

This cheeky one was sitting on my garden fence until I poked my camera in its direction and it promptly jumped into my neighbour’s garden amongst their lights fitments.

Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis), September 2017, rear garden, Staffordshire, England.

    1. Thank you, Ark πŸ™‚ No, there are none left around her, and you have to go further north. I was hoping to see one on the Isle of White when I visited in August, but they were a no show unfortunately.

  1. He’s lovely, and obviously busy squirreling away food for winter. We have no greys here, only reds πŸ™‚

    1. I think he was after the peanuts on the bird feeder. We only have greys around here, the reds are further up north.
