  1. Nice! I grew up in Chester, and down one side of the house we had this purple shrub .. or something purple at any rate, ( I ain’t no spring chicken any more so the old memory etc !) and in summer there were always Peacocks and Red Admirals.

    • Thank you, Ark πŸ™‚ It was probably a Buddleia, commonly called the ‘Butterfly Bush’, for they surely attract a lot of butterflies and other nectar-loving insects.
