    Oh, how beautiful. I don’t know what I’d do if I was surrounded by these beauties every day. I seriously did a happy dance this morning because two Monarch butterflies danced around each other in front of my window. It was a delight to see as we don’t have many butterflies in our neck of the woods (not any flowers) 😦

    I was once told Meadow Brown’s fly close to the ground and have a floppy flight. Never noticed how pretty they actually are. Maybe brown is the new black.

      That’s right, they do fly close to the ground and are quite floppy fliers. And when they settle they tend to land amongst tall grasses so can be hard to photo.
