A Matter of Perspective II

Rose of Sharon Hypericum Calycinum

Rose of Sharon (Hypericum Calycinum), is now flowering in my backyard. I find the bright yellow, sunburst flowers quite stunning and interesting to photograph. Getting in quite close it is like peering into another world.

Thank you, Sumyanna ๐Ÿ™‚ These plants were already growing in my gardens when I first moved in here some 24 years ago, and are always one of the highlights of the summer.

They are beautiful. I assume that all plants don’t live everywhere, but it is so nice to find one I have never seen before!

Thank you very much, Brian ๐Ÿ™‚ Yes, it is a good performer, and it does cover quite a bit of ground if you don’t keep it in check.
