A Matter of Perspective II

Rose of Sharon Hypericum Calycinum

Rose of Sharon (Hypericum Calycinum), is now flowering in my backyard. I find the bright yellow, sunburst flowers quite stunning and interesting to photograph. Getting in quite close it is like peering into another world.

    1. Thank you, Sumyanna 🙂 These plants were already growing in my gardens when I first moved in here some 24 years ago, and are always one of the highlights of the summer.

      1. They are beautiful. I assume that all plants don’t live everywhere, but it is so nice to find one I have never seen before!

  1. Absolutely beautiful Pete. Close-up photos reveal beauty that a lot of people never see.
