      1. Whenever I try to get close, they run off. My daughter takes fabulous up-close photos of insects. It is her hobby. I love the photos, but just can’t get the camera to see it my way 🙂

      2. Patience, luck, and practice, I think are the three main ingredients, apart from having the gear, to take insect macros. Also getting as many shots in of the subject as you can before it does fly off helps, then there is a chance you may get some good ones in there 🙂

  1. Simply excellent photos, my man. Superb clarity, especially the second photo.. And you can hardly notice the super glue on the fly’s feet stopping it from buzzing off!
