A Beautiful Chiller

Frozen Rose

The past couple of nights we have had some pretty heavy frosts here, and the rose blooms that were tempted to come out in the milder weather and which had begun to decay in the damp atmosphere now look like they have just come out the refrigerator. Frozen popsicles they may be, but they are also frozen little wonders.

to me roses are especially beautiful in frost like this even where they are turning brown.. beauty until the end.

Stunning! There is just something about frost-covered plants – like sparkling, sugared fruit – that makes a lovely flower even more beautiful.

Roses tuck such beauty in their delicate bodies, even with frosty coats they are lovely! You captured much in those moments, sheer joy to view, thank you!

That’s funny, I just nipped out this morning and took a few pics of the frosted red roses in the garden, but I haven’t looked at them yet. Looking at yours the frost has given them almost an artificial quality! So pretty.

Thank you for your comment, Jude 🙂 I love to see frost on roses and on all kinds of flora. I will look forward to seeing your frozen roses if you upload them.
