I can well understand your thoughts on trees. i had one in the Botanic Gardens I photographed each season and another I always included in a sunset silhouette on the RBG boundary near my old home. I imagine your favourites speak to you as they do me.
Wonderful definition and so many colours that are just shades different from one another!

Thank you, Jude 🙂 I do so love the winter light. It is kinder on the landscape bringing out all those different shades.

Beautiful composition. The bare-limbed tree stands out so well with the light on the frosty grass through the gap in the foreground bushes.

Thank you, Vicki 🙂 Although the tree is now dead, it is one of my favourite trees to photograph anytime of the year.

Indeed there is. Although it can be bleak at times, it can also be very beautiful in the low light.

Nice exposure and detail on the tree. Is this the same tree as in December Woods?

Thank you, David 🙂 Yes, it is the same tree. It is a dead tree, but one my camera keeps turning to when I am on one of my walks 🙂
