Golden Light On A Grey Squirrel

Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)

I love the way the afternoon lowering winter sun turns everything into a golden glow. On my walk this afternoon I heard the squirrels calling across the woods, then spotted this one bathed in gold.

    • Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ We have red and grey here, but I have never seen a native red squirrel as most have been pushed further north by the greys. I think this one was enjoying a few warming rays of golden light and was just chilling ๐Ÿ™‚
