Gosh, I’m green with envy … your flowers are still blooming, Pete. My snaps were covered with snow this morning tho’ it’s melting now and some might even have survived. 🙂
Hi Sally 🙂 I am surprised they are still flowering myself. I even have roses in bud! The seasons have gone crazy. I hope your snaps are still good after the melt.
Roses in bud?!? Wow. Our world is definitely shifting in strange ways.
Here farmers are still trying to get crops off . Some swath has lain in the fields for weeks and will be worth little. Fields of oats east of us are still waiting to be combined. Wind and snow have laid down so much it will be very difficult to harvest … and all the rain that came before meant the fields were so wet that farmers couldn’t get equipment out there to do anything. Tough times for sure.
You have had some rough weather there, Sally. I hope things improve so the farmers can get on top of things before winter sets in for good.
There has been no rain here for a week or more, and its still quite warm. Although it does get a little nippy in the morning and late afternoon. Clocks go back at the end of this month.
Beautiful!

Summer has been lengthened by the warmth of September!! It’s quite fun seeing a mix of late summer blooms against the emerging colours of Autumn now 🙂

Thank you, Lynda 🙂 I really love the morning light, especially in autumn. And especially when it alights upon the petals of beautiful flowers.
