    1. Thank you for your comment, Sonya. Yes, the thorns can be troublesome when pruning, but like hawthorn it can make a good secure hedge, and the white flowers are quite beautiful, attracting a lot of insects.

  1. Here’s something we share. It’s such a beautiful plant, particularly before the birds get into the clusters and make them less photogenic!

    1. Thank you for your comment. I have them growing up the sides of the front of my house wall, and providing the birds don’t eat all the berries, they do look very bright and colourful.
