Spinning Around

Garden Spider (Araneus diadematus)

I came across this Garden Spider (Araneus diadematus) busy spinning a new web in my garden.

Thank you David. 🙂 I had been watching this spider in its web for a few days and it had made a few good catches, inclduing a wasp. Here it was doing a major repair job, rebuilding most of it.

I’ve seen spiders spinning webs two time. Both times were about 2/3 of the way done. It was amazing. It changed my whole view of spiders. I have a post of a poem about spider spinning the web. But I still don’t like all tiny spiders speaking into my house though. Thank you for liking my post Hyperbole.

Thank you for your comment 🙂 I know some folk don’t like spiders, but I have always found them fascinating and beautiful in their own way.
